Graduate development program

The Graduate Development Program (GDP) starts in February each year. The GDP is a full-time, year-long introduction to Health and the Australian Public Service.

As a graduate, you will help to develop and implement health policy, programs and services. In your role you will help us to improve the health care and well-being of Australians.

You don’t have to be a health professional to consider a career with Health.

We need graduates with specialist and generalist skills, including:

  • data analytics
  • social policy
  • economics
  • arts
  • statistics
  • science and research
  • medical science
  • health care planning.

We welcome applications from Australian citizens with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent within the last five years. Our Graduate Program is located in Canberra.
