$6 million for medical research projects in South Australia
The South Australian Academic Health Science and Translation Centre will receive funding under the Medical Research Future Fund to deliver new ground breaking medical research projects.
The South Australian Academic Health Science and Translation Centre will receive $6.1 million under the Medical Research Future Fund for vital research projects in areas such as:
- bowel cancer
- cardiac rehabilitation
- reducing the risk of preterm births.
The Centre brings together the best minds from hospitals, universities, primary health networks and medical research to work on solutions that can make a big difference to the day to day experiences of patients in South Australia.
